Welcome to our Hub
Leverhulme Community Hub is a multi-purpose facility.
The Aosd’ is Ùr charity shop and a launderette is now open! In due course, we will also be welcoming a gym, café, and Post Office. We are also the new home for the South Harris Historical Society.
The building has recently undergone extensive renovation and work is still being undertaken to get the rest of the Hub open.

Charity Shop
Our charity shop, Aosd’ is Ùr (Old and New) is run by volunteers.
Now open again Wed-Sat 10am-4pm!

Historical Society
Comunn Eachdraidh Ceann a Deas Na Hearadh has a display open to the public, visit us and let us know what you think.
Currently closed but will re-open soon.
Launderette
We have a self-service coin-operated launderette comprising of 3 washing machines and 3 tumble dryers.
Now open Mon-Sat 9am-9pm!
Post Office
We hope to bring a Post Office to the Hub in the future.

How did it all happen?
The Leverhulme Community Hub Steering Group and Board
What started out as a dream is now becoming reality. In October 2015, the South Harris Community Council and Leverhulme Memorial School Parent Council called a public meeting to figure out what to do with the old Primary building at Leverhulme Memorial School which lead to the creation of the Leverhulme Community Hub Steering Group and subsequent Board.
